Troop 638 is participating in the Alonzo Stagg Hike on Saturday, March 21. Scouts hike 10 miles to earn the Hiking merit badge and log miles toward High Adventure. We also run one of the busiest comfort stations on the route at Fletcher's Boat House.
Sign up by Saturday, March 14. There are three ways to participate:
Volunteer at the Troop 638 Comfort Station. Parents and scouts not hiking can sign up for morning or afternoon shifts. We especially need help 8-9am for setup, 10-11am for the rush, and 2-3:30pm for cleanup. We serve snacks, hot ramen, and first aid to 200+ hikers. Sign up here.
Sign your scout up to hike. Scouts register individually at the Alonzo Stagg Hike Registration link on CheddarUp. The fee is $10.98. Check-in is at St. Agnes, 1914 N Randolph St, at 8am. Departure is at 8:30am, with an expected finish of 11:30am-1pm.
